The search for new material never stops. Interestingly, as we reach the conclusion of the current CD and are playing a lot of this music at our current programme of concerts, our attention is turning towards new material. This will come from a variety of sources including aa review and update of material we have already written and transcribed but haven't brought to a conclusion, a further review of my French CD collection - at least three new songs will come from that, and following a tape to MP3 gadget bought for me for Christmas by my wife, I am re-examining my ancient album collection for forgotten material that deserves a reprise.
Over and above that Rob and I are both writing new material and we can expect further material in relation to the Spanish Civil War, and there are a number of other contemporary and historic themes that I am keen to find time to explore.
Already we have half a dozen ideas for new material to weave into our set.
